This project consisted of construction of 3 off shore reefs parallel to the main breakwater to limit wave overtopping of the main breakwater. The project has increased safety of the harbor and longevity of the main harbor breakwater.
Project was awarded to Kelly Ryan Inc of Seattle March 1999, and the project completed in the January of 2002.

This project consisted of dredging the Harbor entrance channel to a depth of -32' MLLW; dredging to expand the mooring basin to 11.7 acres at a depth of -29' MLLW; upgrade the offshore breakwater reefs to limit scour along the main breakwater; construct a wave disipation fill to limit wave height within the harbor; and dredge a basin to intercept drifting sand into the harbor. The project has increased maneuverability and safety for vessels entering and utilizing the harbor.
Water circulation to the Salt Lagoon was also enhanced through construction of a splitter breakwater at the mouth, and dredging the channel into the Salt Lagoon.
Project was awarded to Kelly Ryan Inc of Seattle June 27, 2003, and the project completed in the September of 2005.
